LTN Advancement Award

Offering scholarship and grant opportunities for underserved and underrepresented Latinas.

Description: Latinicida aims to offer scholarship/grant opportunities ranging from $500 to $1,000 for underserved and underrepresented Latinas. The LTN advancement award helps fund the education or business plan of Latinas who are facing economic hardships and aspire to make a difference in the Latin community. Winners are selected based on financial need and community involvement.

Application requirements for the LTN Advancement Award include:

  • Be of Latin Heritage

  • Minimum of 17 years of age (or parental authorization if under the age of 17)

  • U.S. citizen, legal permanent resident, or DACA recipient

  • Personal statement (500-word minimum) (What would you do with $1,000?)

  • Located within DE, PA, NJ, NY, MA, NH, FL, RI, IL, CT, VT

Awarded Amount: Up to $1,000 annually, non-renewable.

Additional Information: Latinicida (LTN) serves as a professional resource hub for Latinas and aspiring professionals. Part of our mission is to provide Latinas with the necessary tools to accomplish their goals. This includes advocating for the integration of Latinas within all aspects of the classroom, community, and corporate structure while embracing cultural heritage and establishing networks among other Latinas. Our scholarships are awarded yearly to demonstrate determination and vision. Regardless of your circumstances or future aspirations, we encourage all Latina applicants to apply for the LTN Advancement Award to be considered for financial assistance.
