Katarina Wabrek
Position: Co-founder
As a Massachusetts native, Katarina Wabrek was born to a first-generation Dominican mother and second-generation German father. In her pursuit to follow her passion, she attended the military college of Vermont, Norwich University, where she received her undergraduate degree in Architectural Studies, a minor in Engineering Management, and her Master’s in Architecture.
Andrea Moreno, Esq.
Position: Co-founder
In addition to being a co-founder of Latinicida, Andrea Moreno is an attorney admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania. Andrea attended Vermont Law School where her primary focus was in corporate law. She earned her Juris Doctor in 2019.
Amanda Coger
Position: Treasurer
Amanda was born in Wilmington, Delaware, to a Mexican-American mother and Native American father. She is the mother of two girls, Alexis and Gabriella, who have primarily played a role in her passion for advancing Latina equality and Women’s rights. Amanda studied Organizational Management at Wilmington University and worked the last nine years in the banking sector, focusing primarily on fraud and Risk analytics.
Zedekiah Maldonado
Position: Director of Operations
Zedekiah Maldonado is the daughter of first-generation Puerto Rican parents and was raised in Springfield, Massachusetts. Zedekiah attended Bryant University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in International Business and Global Supply Chain Management. With the urge to further her education, Zedekiah returned to Bryant University and earned her MBA.
Alicia Tavares
Position: Director of Content Strategy & Social Media
Alicia was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts and is the daughter of a first-generation Dominican father and Irish mother. She is one of eight children dedicated to breaking generational cycles represented in Latin-American cultures. Alicia studied at Northern Essex Community College where she earned her certificate in Human Resource Management
