Meet The Latest Team Member of LTN: Hope Dennis, Director of Marketing & Social Media

Latinicida was founded by two incredibly talented Latinas, Katarina Wabrek and Andrea Moreno, Esq with the mission of advancing Latinas through academic assistance, leadership development, and civic engagement. They recently recruited Hope Dennis as the Director of Marketing and Social Media. Keep reading below to learn more about Hope Dennis!

Hope was born in Texas to a Puerto Rican mother and African-American father. She spent most of her childhood in New York, briefly lived in Germany as a child, and later moved to New England where she currently resides. As a graduate of the fashion program at Lasell University, she received her Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising with the goal of pursuing a career in the creative and business sides of the fashion industry. She currently works as an E-commerce Operations Manager for a well-known luxury boutique in Boston, MA, in addition to the incredible work she does for LTNs social media channels.

Reason Behind Joining Latinicida

Hope had been following Latinicida on Instagram for a few months before seeing a post asking for individuals to expand the team. Hope mentioned that over the past few years she had become “increasingly invested in self-growth as well as improving my personal and professional development,” and believed that one of the best ways to accomplish that is by surrounding oneself with like-minded individuals who share similar values.

Hope believes that surrounding yourself with those that hold you accountable yet encourage you to strive for greatness is the road to success. Latinicida’s mission seemed to embody this ideology for her, and she “was hoping to bring just as much value to the women responsible for this organization as they would bring me.”

How Did Hope Get Involved with Latinicida?

After discovering that LTN was looking for new members to join the team, she completed a bit of research on the organization and came to the conclusion that their mission embodied her current goals. After reaching out to them and receiving a response to her application, she completed a series of interviews and was soon accepted into the social media team.

In her work with Latinicida, she hopes to help with the continuing growth of the current social accounts, expanding onto new platforms, and making a lasting impact on those engaging with our content. “One of my goals in life is to not only build a better future for myself but for those like me, young, ambitious Latin women who may not have the resources they need to succeed readily available.”
